Starfighter Badges

Beats Mowing Lawns Badge (easy – 5 points)
Mine, deliver, or kill your way to $3,500 in Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy
Missionary Badge (medium – 15 points)
Complete 5 assassination missions in Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy

Warship Destroyer Badge (hard – 30 points)
Destroy 801 warships to unlock the Destroyer or Warship in Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy
Alright, where to start eh? :P

Well, first things first, Human or Alien? I prefer Human, because they have cooler ships/better ships and utilities. Aliens have better weapons, but I still prefer Human, whichever you choose is fine though - It makes very little difference.

(Controls)

The controls are pretty simple...

Arrow Keys to move, Spacebar to fire primary cannon. (Its on your ship automatically)
Z to shoot the primary weapon. X to give a speed boost. Q to dock with a station when you are over it, W for the map.

Those are all the ones I remember, leave a comment if I missed anyway!

(Weapon Select for Human)

I suggest all players get a Laser Beam, and an energy cell, other than that you can really get what you want, just feel comfortable.

Next up, getting $3,500.

I suggest using Assassinate missions, but try to pick the ones that are close to home (aka one sector away) till you get a Hyperspace recharger engine.

For ships, I suggest the fastest one (I believe it is 3 over from the first ship) and it should do you well, I pretty much used it till 201 kills.

For the medium badge, just do as I said up there ^^^^ and do assassinate missions for money and kills, it should be easy.

When doing an assassinate mission the direction you are supposed to go, or the enemy you are supposed to kill is the BLUE arrow, it may also have a distance to target. Basically, follow it and kill anything that gets in your way.

For the hard badge.

Its really all a matter of trucking on, keep trying, and...

ALWAYS HAVE MORE THAN 3-5 LIVES WHEN ENTERING A SECTOR

If you do not it is very VERY easy to lose all of your progress and have to start over again. So, keep stocked up on lives, if you get low, get out of the sector ASAP.

MMM2 Card Challenge Guide

Ultimate Traffic Clearance Challenge

Prevent the evil vehicles from, uh, reaching the other side of the screen (bastards!) to unlock the Origami Crane card.
  • Wave 15 Completed – You need to load up "Scenario" mode and reach the 16th wave. Your progress indicates the wave you're currently on.

This guide is here to help you get the card, this will not explain how to get the badges (yet), but it will get you halfway to the hard one.

The Basics:

1) You control an "energy ball silo" Which is apparently connected to and underground system of underpaid and lazy scientists, since you have to prove your worth by killing the enemies to get them to do research ;).

2) The enemies typically come from the right side, so position your silo on the left (more details later). You have to click the energy ball in the middle, and drag it back like so:
Then, once you have your desired velocity (how far back you pull it) and your aim. You let go and slingshot the ball at the enemy. Be warned however, the harder you fling it, the less stable it gets. If it is too unstable it may blow up as you launch it and damage your building. So be careful! Try to balance it out between power and stability.

3) Power-ups. Some enemies drop power-ups, which you collect by clicking on. They then go to the top of the screen, and displays a timer, when the timer runs out, so does your use of that power up. Example: What these 3 do, the Black hole one allows you to fire a ball that sucks in surrounding tanks, and crushes them against each other. The Hourglass disable all cooldown times (the time until you can do ______ again. It is cut to zero). And the orange + sign regenerates your Silo's health.

There are plenty more power-ups out there, but I'll let you guys discover what each one does!!!

4) Angling Shots: Sometimes it is best to aim right for an enemy tank, but other times is is better to bank an energy ball off of a wall, and into that tank. Send it into tanks. Here is an example:
That is an example of when you might want to bank a shot, so one tank hit another and creates a chain reaction.

Hints and Tips

Always check see where your enemies are coming from, and plan accordingly, typically the come from the right side, but sometimes they switch it up, they can come from both sides, or just from the left side. So be sure to pay attention around level 12+ Example: It is also very helpful to invest 1 point in a weapons upgrade, as the 2nd ball you get uses less energy. I would also suggest getting 7 extra points in stability. As well as some energy upgrades. these are my suggestions, after those, keep upgrading and find what works best for you!

Remember that Tanks hitting other tanks, does more damage the hitting tanks with missles, so always try to bunch the tanks together and smash 'em all up. The nuclear tanks are also helpful to keep close to big tanks, when they explode, they sometimes create a nuclear reaction, killing most of the tanks near them.

Another thing you can do, when enemies are close, put your energy ball on top of their tank, and let go. This will cause the ball to stay inside of their tank, thus killing it. A useful strategy for high health escapees ;) But keep in mind, when it explodes it hurts your structure (if its too close) so be careful!!!

CC’s [New] Weekly Review; Santa Caught Christmas!

Santa Caught Christmas!

My rating: 4.5/5 (For the addiction factor)

What better way to get in the Christmas spirit, than with games? Sure… family is good, but games, games will always be there for you.

The premise of this game is that the elves are on STRIKE, shortly after making the presents; they then rigged up some tennis ball machines, and are now forcing Santa to catch ALL the gifts this year!

What a twist! So now, you have to control santa and catch as many gifts as you can, but be careful though… Santa can only do so much in one trip! He starts slowing down, and if you have him carry too many presents, other presents will start bouncing off!

This is one of those “addicting” type games, you know, the type you play to beat the highscore of a friend, and that’s what I like to do, beat down my friends high score list, unfortunately, this has never happened… oh well. :-/

The basic controls are somewhat generic, but they get the job done. Its all your arrow keys; ^ to make him jump, > to make him go right, <>

I haven’t found too much use for the jump, but you can try to catch up with some presents that way. As for the arrow keys, they are a little touchy, and react very quickly. So try to be able to sit down with the game for a couple rounds to get used to it.

Final Tip: Unload all your presents into the sleigh for bonus points, especially at the end.

Santa Caught Christmas!

I hope you guys enjoyed reading this, and that you will hopefully enjoy the game!

Serious Business Challenge

It's time to fight back against teh l33t hax0rz pwning teh innerwebs! Hone your skillz in Breach to unlock the Healing Salve card and protect the sacred Lolcats forever!

The Chosen One Zero One Badge (hard – 30 points)
Complete the first 5 levels to unlock Infinity Mode, then survive for 101 seconds in Breach

The gameplay is quite simple really. You are a "Pod" in a computers hard drive and you are trying to get past the Virus (red and green) and make it out alive... Think of it as your last brain cell trying to live after you have had "One too many" for 30 years ;P

The controls consist solely of your Mouse to move and Click it to fire... It plays like a mouse avoider, but with an interesting twist. You can shoot the barriers in front of you (only the green ones, Red ones are invulnerable) to open up a path when it forms a complete wall. The levels get harder by adding even more twists: (Obstacles for each level)

Level 1: Standard green viral blocks
Level 2: Indestructible red wall blocks
Level 3: Random speed changes
Level 4: Random pauses
Level 5: Explosive orange hazard blocks

The final level is what you unlock after beating Level 5... It is called infinity Mode and is what the hard badge is for...

Infinity mode is even harder than Level 5, but there is 1 simple trick/its variation which can help. A little before coming up to a wall hit "Alt" (should be beside your windows Key for windows user, or right click using your mouse... both do the same thing, and what happens is when you do that, the "Pod" is no longer controlled by your mouse, and just floats... Till you click on the other side of your obstacle, with some practice you can skip by half a page without losing any lives!

Another tip is this, when you do lose a life you become invincible for bout 3 seconds, during this time I suggest you get as far to the right as you can, as you will not lose any lives for going through red or green blocks while you are in your "Gray State".

The best thing you can do though is just practice, and get used to dodging. Try to use your peripheral vision to see ahead and think of the best spots to go. Most of all, have fun! Come into the van and you can chat with 2DArray, he is in there most of the day.

If you need specific help in any game, or challenge, just track me down and ask, I'll do my best to help you, and if I can't... I'll find someone who can! =D

Understanding ColourPod

The wonderful insight in this guide is brought to you by crazycruiser and chitown15... Enjoy!!!

ColourPod is a basic defense shooter, with two main
goals:

(1 collect colored pixels.
(2 shoot all the gray pixels before they reach your turret.

First off, the bar on the backside of your turret is your collector(Called your "Colour Lens").
*IMPORTANT* This is NOT a shield, if you try to block a gray pixel with it, you will lose some of your life "points".

The more colored pixels you collect the more your various weapons will be upgraded. Basically, all the "leveling up" of your weapons does is decrease the reload time.

Here's what the four colour weapons do. (1 Red, red is your basic
turret gun, and you get it automatically from the start. To shoot a red laser FRAGM3NT :D just click your left mouse button... (Might want to try aiming too =P)
(2 The blue weapon, Ah, my favorite weapon of all... what I affectionately call the BLUE NUCLEAR BOMB OF DEATH... It wipes the screen clear of all gray pixels... you know those evil ones bent on interstellar domination... To use this weapon simply press your Spacebar

(3 Green, the green color refills some of you lost health it does
this automatically, you don't have to press anything. (Finally, an automatic weapon)

(4 Yellow, yellow slows down incoming pixels for a
short amount of time, thus allowing you to shoot the crap out of them :) use the yellow weapon by pressing your "S" button on your keyboard.

I found the best strategy is to protect your
health first, then collect as many coloured
pixels as possible. As you get to the later
levels make sure you go after large groups early. And
if you start to get overloaded use the follow code "Self-destruct sequence A2r3t... wait, nevermind... Just use your "blue bomb" (OF DEATH)
and then go after the new pixels as fast as you can.

Also for the medium badge you should get to 777 pixels, meh, around the... 6th level.

Well there isn't really anything else I can say [O.O]
It may take you a couple of tries, and that's fine. Remember,
this is a hard badge, it shouldn't be easy.

Hope this guide helped you to save a little piece of color in your world :].

The 2 C's...

Crazycruiser, and Chitown15. Most of the credit goes to chitown for this one (pronounced "shy-town", don't ask me... It is a bit weird xD) Thanks buddy!!!
